Obituary of Dorothy Anne Laverty

Dorothy Anne Laverty, (nee McCormick), age 78 passed away on August 8, 2011, of Dock Woods Community, formerly of Philadelphia). Beloved wife of Andrew B. Laverty (who passed away on March 1, 2011). Mother of Karen Lee Laverty, David Andrew Laverty (Teresa, Fiancee) and Stephen Thomas Laverty (Anne-wife). She is also survived by seven grandchildren, Jeanine, Brittany, Drew, Dani, Stevie, David and Justin Beale, in-laws, of Jack and Jean, Larry and Lee, Betty Dawson, Jane Vorhauer and Polly McCormick plus Nicolette Laverty (mother of Jeanine, Brittany and Drew), and numeroud nieces and nephews. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew B. Laverty, her parents, Walter F. McCormick and Ruth Agnus (Cotter) McCormick and her five siblings - Walter Thomas (Bud) McCormick, Earl Robert McCormick, John Franklin McCormich, Eleanor Ruth Middleton (McCormick), Marion May Cofone (McCormick) as well as George Cofone (brother-in-law), and her nephews Eddie Middleton and Johnny McCormick. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, August 15, 2011 at 11 AM, at Dock Woods Chapel, 275 Dock Drive, Lansdale, Pa 19446. Interment is private.
