Dorothy M. (Porter) Polascak of Robbinsville passed away peacefully in Hamilton NJ on November 18, 2021 at 90 years old.

Dorothy eternally joins her predeceased family, including husband Andrew J. Polascak Sr., her brothers, Frederick Porter and his wife Virginia, William Porter and his wife Marie, and Robert Porter; and her parents Frederick and Dorothy Porter.

Surviving family members include son Andrew Polascak Jr. and wife Julie of Myrtle Beach SC, son William Polascak and wife Patricia, son Jeffrey Polascak Sr, son Mark Polascak and partner Eileen Hall, and daughter Dawn Morton and husband Douglas.  She was Nana to grandchildren Andrew Polascak III, Marissa Barnhill and her husband Jordan, William Polascak Jr. and his wife Melanie, Lisa Polascak and her partner Laura Stackhouse, Jeffrey Polascak, Laura Polascak, Mark Polascak Jr., Jenna Lea Polascak, Elizabeth Morton, plus two great-grandchildren Donovan and Liam Polascak.

She will be missed by her extended family Tina and Dan Wolff and their son Daniel, beloved friends Sue and Eric Perkins, and honorary Nana to Andrea, Zach and Jack Braff, and Cara and Chris Zimmerman.

She worked several jobs including as a waitress and in the domestics department at Grants, but her primary role as a homemaker allowed her to be a second mother to all her children's friends as they grew up.  In later years she spent time at the shore or the pool, but mostly laughing with friends and family.  Her neighbors know her from sitting in her rocker on the porch in the sun, which was her happy place.  Friends knew her affectionately as Dottie. Her sense of humor and laughter will be in our hearts forever.

Friends and family will gather for a viewing on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at Kirk and Nice Suburban Chapel, 333 W. County Line Road, Huntingdon Valley, PA 19006. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home at 12:00 pm. Interment will follow at Colonial Memorial Park, 3039 S. Broad Street, Hamilton, NJ 08690.
