Obituary of Earl Taylor

Earl C. Taylor, Sr. of the Village of Buckingham Springs passed away February 14 after a long illness. He was 84.

Mr. Taylor was a 1948 graduate of Bensalem High School and lived his entire in the Bucks County area. He was a long time employee of Schutte and Kaerting Cornwells.

The Taylors enjoyed spending their winters at their Florida home where Mr. Taylor was active in the Space Coast RV Resort Association Board of Directors. His particular interest was in their campground Sunday worship service where he was responsible for the service set up and preparation.

Mr. Taylor was a member of Eddington Presbyterian Church for 65 years. He served as an elected trustee and on numerous committees. He also worked with the Croydon Boy Scout Troup #69.

Sports and the Philadelphia Athletic teams were a big part of Mr. Taylor's life. He was an avid fan. The Taylors also enjoyed traveling throughout all 50 states.

He is survived by his wife Helen (nee Peters) of 61 years, his daughter Donna Austin and husband William of Fincastle, VA; son Earl Taylor, Jr. and wife Brenda of Coatesville, PA. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren; Michelle Kisler and husband Brian of Fallsington, PA, Amy Swicker and husband Thomas of Fletcher. NC and Andrew Robinson of Albuquerque, NM and 4 great grandchildren, Andrew, Caleb and Kaitlyn Kisler and Wyatt Swicher.

A Memorial Service for Mr. Taylor will be on Friday, February 21 at 10:30 AM at the Eddington Presbyterian Church, 3650 Bristol Pike, Bensalem 19020. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Eddington Presbyterian Church.
