Edward J. Gorman, 80, passed peacefully in his home surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, February 25th, 2024.  Edward was the loving husband of 43 years to Judy L. (Chavis) Gorman. Edward is survived by his sons: Kenneth Thomas, Edward P. Gorman, his daughters; Kelly Eisenberg, and Kimberly Gorman. He was the grandfather of Jadine Morley, Lee Morley, Connor Eisenberg, and Kiera Eisenberg.

Edward was born in South Philadelphia to the late Joseph P. and Agnes (nee Smith) Gorman on December 19th, 1943.

Edward was a graduate of Bishop Neumann High School, Philadelphia.  He honorably served our country in the United States Navy Beachmasters.

He went on to become Vice President of Operations at Gould, and L3 Communications.

Ed loved his family, his country, and was an honest, kind, hard worker.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his funeral service on Friday, March 1, 2024 at 12 noon with Pastor David Carey officiating at Kirk & Nice Suburban Chapel. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.

A viewing will be held from 11:00 AM Friday morning at the funeral home.
