Obituary of Edward Smith

Edward F. Smith, Jr., age 66, passed away on Sunday, October 3, 2010. He was a resident of Southampton and was formerly of Philadelphia. Ed was the beloved husband of Sherrie (nee Moses), and the loving father of Jennifer and Katie Smith. Also surviving are his sister, Marie Trethaway (Jack Bastian); a nephew, Michael Trethway (Patti); and great nephews, Brian and Matthew Threthaway. Ed was a proud Lieutenant with the Philadelphia Fire Department for 25 years. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Friday, October 8, 2010, from 6:30 until 9:00 PM at Kirk and Nice Suburban Chapel, 333 County Line Road, Feasterville, PA (215) 354-0085, and to his Funeral Mass on Saturday, October 9, 2010 at 10:00 AM, Assumption B.V.M. Church, 1900 Meadowbrook Road, Feasterville, PA. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park.
