Obituary of Edward Wunsch

Edward F. Wunsch passed away on May 5, 2008 at his residence. He was 86. Ed was a USMC Platoon Sergeant and WWII Vet. He served as Police Chief for Lower Southampton Twp. from 1951-1989. A graduate of the FBI Academy, he was also former President and lifetime member of both the PA and SE PA Police Chiefs Associatons. President Emeritus of the Bucks County Police Chief's Association and a lifetime member of Rotary International and the International Police Chief Association. He was proud to be a Mason for over 60 years. Above and beyond all his other accomplishments, his family was most important to him. The beloved husband of the late Jane (nee Hughes), he is survived by his daughter Mary Jane Baldwin along with her husband James, a daughter in law Irene Wunsch, grandchildren Edward Michael Wunsch, David Fredrick Wunsch, Karen Wunsch-Mitchell and Matthew W.W. Baldwin, also by six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son Edward F. Wunsch, Jr.
