Obituary of Elaine Curry

Elaine M. Curry, 81, beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. of Yardley, PA, passed away at home on Thursday, November 13, 2008.

Born, Elaine Meyer, in Philadelphia in 1926, she and husband Clark lived in many places before residing in Yardley in 1999. Elaine was a long time member of the First Presbyterian Church of Morrisville and was active in youth club productions with her children. She worked for many years in the electronics department at Clover Department Store in Morrisville. She was an avid cross-stitcher and also loved quilting. She was pre-deceased by her loving husband Clark of 58 years., She is survived by her loving family, two sons, a daughter and a sister. Paul and Marylou Curry of Pittsburgh PA, David and Jackie Carr-Curry of New Hope PA, Diane and David Kish of Stockton NJ and her sister, Joanne Thern of Warminister PA. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren: Michael and Karin Dearden of Pittsburgh PA., Gregory and Breane DeArden of Austin TX, Brad and Samantha Curry of Pittsburgh PA, Derrick and Linetta Curry of Pittsburgh PA, Christine Curry of Levittown PA, Chloe Conti of New Hope PA, and Ben Kish of Stockton NJ; and 9 great-grandchildren: Michael Dearden, Brandon Curry, Zachery Curry, Gage Curry, Zane Curry, Zalayna Curry, Massima Curry, Larke Curry and Tallia Curry, all of Pittsburgh PA.

A Memorial Service will be held at 8:00 PM on Thursday December 4th 2008 at Stockton Presbyterian Church, 22 S. Main St., Stockton, NJ 08559. Interment will be private at Sunset Memorial Park, Feasterville, PA.
