Obituary of Eleanor Wallace

Eleanor M. Wallace passed away December 4, 2009 at the age of 80. She was a former resident of Old Forge, PA, and a graduate of the Taylor School of Nursing. Eleanor continued her passion for nursing in the Philadelphia area for over 50 years, until her retirement in 1991. She was the devoted daughter of the late Anthony and Matilda Tabella and the beloved wife of the late William Wallace. She is survived by a son John Wallace and daughters; Judith Butler, Barbara Coyle and Carol Lucas, also by 8 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother Fiore Tabella. Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Wednesday December 9th at Maternity BVM R.C. Church 9220 Bustleton Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19115, where a funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:00 AM. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the St. Jude Research Hospital for Children 50 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
