Elizabeth ( Betty ) Ann Allmond ( nee Cook ), age 87, of Southampton, passed away on May 6, 2017. She was the wife of the late Louis Allmond, who passed away in 2002. Betty was born in Philadelphia, and was the daughter of the late Tecumseh Deerfoot Cook, who was the Chief of the Pamunkey Indian Reservation in King William County, Virginia. Betty was the loving mother of Barbara Lix ( the late Michael ), David Allmond ( Deborah ), Thomas Allmond, Stephen Allmond (Jill) and Donna Jenet ( Gregory ). She was the devoted grandmother of 11 and cherished great grandmother of 3. Betty is also survived by her siblings, Warren Cook ( Susan ) and Eleanor Fields ( Bud ). Relatives and friends are invited to call on Wednesday evening, May 10, 2017, from 7 to 8;30 pm, at the Kirk & Nice Suburban Chapel, 333 County Line Rd., Feasterville, PA 19053, followed by a prayer service at 8;30 PM. Interment will be in the Pamunkey Baptist Church Cemetery, King William Co., VA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Davisville Church, 325 Street Rd., Southampton, PA., 18966 .
