Obituary of Elizabeth Easterday
ELIZABETH (nee McKeever), 78, of Phila., died on Wed., Sept. 2, 2015. She lived in Blue Bell, PA for almost 5 years, but spent the majority of her life living in Philadelphia. Parents were Elizabeth and Charles Kish.
"Betsy" had many jobs. She worked at a cigar factory rolling cigars, as a cashier at a movie theater, worked in a hat factory and in her mother's restaurant. She was also a devoted homemaker.
Betsy had many passions. She enjoyed, cooking, reading, crocheting, shopping and going out to eat. She liked the shore and playing skew-ball, watching si-fi and especially liked watching anything with William Shatner. She liked music, especially Elvis Presley. Above all this, Betsy loved her husband, children and grandchildren. She raised and loved many dogs.
Wife of the late John T. Mother of Linda Easterday, Sallie Strayer (Steve), Betty Holden (Tom), Barbara Spangler (Mike) and late Mike Easterday. Grand-mother of 11.
Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation Thurs., Sept. 10, at 10 A.M., followed by her Funeral Service at 11 A.M., at KIRK AND NICE SUBURBAN CHAPEL, 333 County Line Rd. , Feasterville PA, 215-354-0085. Int. Sunset Memorial Park.
