Elizabeth R. Meyer, 86 December 16, 1935-January 8, 2022 Allentown, PA Predeceased: Nicholas Bobyock (father) Frances (Stec) Bobyock (mother) Richard C. Meyer (husband), Evelyn Bobyock (sister) Anna (Bobyock) Seguin (sister) Peter Bobyock (brother), Eugene Bobyock (brother) and Ellye (Bobyock) Lukaschewsky (sister) Survivors: Marybeth Meyer daughter, Stephen Chrismar son-in-law, Emil (Susan) Bobyock , brother, Gregory, Stephen, David, Lisa nephews and nieces.

Elizabeth was born in Mahanoy Plane, PA and graduated from Gilberton High School. She moved to Philadelphia, received her Associates Degree from Temple University, and worked for Bell of Pennsylvania.

Elizabeth loved to travel and took advantage of her office role at Lufthansa and Swiss Air to visit many exotic locations, including Italy, Greece, and Hawaii.

She met her husband Richard at a Philadelphia party, kicking off a whirlwind romance, taking trips to Richard's home in Switzerland on numerous occasions. They married in 1962 and brought a beautiful, loving daughter, Marybeth into the world several years later.

Elizabeth always encouraged her daughters' curiosity and education through travel, with visits to arboretums and museums, ultimately providing Marybeth support toward her Ivy League degree.

Elizabeth's last job was with Verizon (originally Bell of PA) as a sales consultant. Her love of the finer things in life led her to frequent good restaurants, where the head waiters and waitress' always greeted her warmly by name.

Her faith kept her involved and supportive of those less fortunate to the end. Certainly, as she arrives in heaven, the first words from her lips will be…."Where's Marybeth?"

She is missed and loved.
