Obituary of Elizabeth (Stewart) Miller

Elizabeth Helen Stewart Miller, wife of the late Thomas Edward Miller, Sr., passed away on June 21, 2015 at her residence in Greenville, SC.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, to the late Alexander and Edith Coull Stewart, "Betty" was always a very active person and a natural when it came to fashion and design. She spent time in a singing group that toured the country and was even a runner-up in the Miss Philadelphia Pageant. For a short time, she owned her own clothing boutique in Philadelphia where she handpicked every item that was sold in the store. During her life, Elizabeth had the pleasure of residing in four different states and forming lifelong friendships wherever she was. While living in Virginia Beach, Elizabeth was very active in her Atlantic Shores community.

Surviving are her sons, Thomas E. Miller, Jr. (April) of Greenville, SC and Stewart A. Miller (Angela) of Rockledge, FL; a sister, Nancy Ruch (George) of Ambler, PA; three grandsons, Thomas, Kyle and Alex; and many loving nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother Alexander Stewart.

Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday, June 27, 2015 at Kirk & Nice Suburban Chapel, 333 County Line Road, Feasterville, PA 19053. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 11:00 AM, prior to the service at the funeral home.
