Obituary of Elvira Braun

Elvira Irmgard Braun, 82, passed away on Friday, May 31st, at her home in Horsham, Pennsylvania.

Born August 24, 1930, in Lithuania, she was the eldest of seven children of Robert Kremer and Helene Schneider Kremer.She was predeceased by her brother Willy Kremer and is survived by her brothers Leo Kremer, Harry Kremer, Norbert Kremer, and her sisters Erna Merrone and Grete Gamb.

Elvira grew up in Lithuana and Germany, and came to America in 1951. She was predeceased by her husband Arnold Braun Sr., former owner of Braun's Iron Works. . She and her husband traveled around the world to such places as Alaska, Hawaii, Europe and Africa.

Elvira enjoyed oil painting landscapes, singing and dancing at local German clubs. After her husband passed away, she moved to Venice, Florida where she lived for several years before returning to Pennsylvania.

Mrs. Braun is survived by her daughter, Karin J. Stubbs (Gary) and son Arnold A. Braun Jr (Donna)., four granddaughters Doloris connell (Daniel), Kristina Vivian ( Brett),Brenda Leve (Patrick) and Ginny Braun, She also is survived by five great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews .

A viewing will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, June 7, at Kirk & Nice Suburban Chapel, Inc., 333 County Line Road, Feasterville. Services will be following the viewing at 11 am and burial will be immediately after at Sunset Memorial Park, Feasterville.
