Elwood Paul Schultz of Southampton Estates passed away August 30, 2022 . He was 8 9 . Elwood was the loving husband of Jane (Bruggeman) Schultz for nearly 29 years.
Born in Huntingdon Valley, Lower Moreland Township , he was the third child of the late Hans and Mary Jane ( Brooks ) Schultz .
Elwood spent the first part of his life working on the family farm, as member of the Lower Moreland Public Works Department and as an oil furnace & boiler service technician. With his first wife Carol ( Fretz ) Schultz, he raised their two daughters in a house that he , himself, built on a parcel cut out from the family farm.
In his second act , along with his wife Jane, Elwood pursued a life-long love o f woodworking a nd crafted numerous projects and pieces of intricate scroll - work which the couple marketed at local craft fairs and through commissions for custom orders and designs.
Elwood also enjoyed traveling with Jane , jigsaw puzzles, and playing Pinochle with friends ; he was a lifelong member of the Huntingdon Valley Fire Company
Elwood Schultz was preceded in death by his wife Jane, his brother Howard Schultz and his sister Margret Norman. He is survived by his daughters Donna Seif and Barbara Taylor along with their husbands Joseph S ei f and David Taylor, grand children Joseph S ei f, Jr.; Kathleen Massey; Michelle Naylor; Joshua S ei f; Keefer Taylor and Kyle Taylor as well as several great grandchildren.
Services for Elwood will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the
Huntingdon Valley Fire Company, 636 Red Lion Road, Huntingdon Valley, Pa. 19006.
