Emogean (Jean) M. Takach, age 70, of Philadelphia passed away on Thursday, June 6th, 2024.  She is survived by her son, Eugene D. (Donna), granddaughter, Alyssa, and sisters, Janet Samlin (Ron), Anna Webb (Belle), and Loretta Priest (Tony).  She will also be missed by many nieces and nephews.  Emogean is predeceased by her parents, David and Emogean (nee Obst) Merovitz, and her siblings David and Rebecca.

Emogean was born June 7, 1953 in Philadelphia.  After graduating High School she went on to hold a variety of customer service and accounting positions.  When she wasn't cheering for the Philadelphia Phillies, she enjoyed sewing, crocheting and crafting.  Emogean got the most joy from spoiling her grand daughter Alyssa

Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family, at a later date.
