Obituary of Ernest Rehr
Ernest Rehr, Sr. "Ernie", age 79 years. On April 24, 2008 welcomed home by the Lord and embraced into the arms of his loving wife, the late Evelyn C. (nee Silverthorne). Ernie was a U.S. Army Koren War vet, a retired Philadelphia Police Sgt., and a member of FOP Lodge #5. Devoted father of Ernie Jr. (Robin) Andrew E. (Marybeth), Jane Rehr-Montgomery and Paul W. Loving grandfather of Evelyn McCole-Vitale (Larry) Ernie Rehr III (Danielle), Francis McCole, Shannon Hauser (Jason) and Drew Rehr. Loving great grandfather to Samantha Rose Rehr and Donald Logan Hauser. He is also survived by a brother Phillip Rehr; a sister Mary DeRita, and many nieces and nephews.
