She attended Germantown High School and during World War II was a volunteer at USO canteen dances and later volunteered at the Valley Forge Veterans Hospital with the Red Cross. Erva retired from the Unisys Corp. and served as a volunteer at Roxborough Memorial Hospital for over 10 years.

Beloved daughter of the late Henry and Mae Jackson. Survived by her sisters Eleanor (the late Samual) Paul, Mae (George, Jr.) Moore, Harriet (Jack) Byrne and Kathleen (William) Carley, her brother, Henry (Darlene) Jackson and many nieces and nephews. Erva was generous and caring, loyal to family and friends who will all miss her dearly.
