Obituary

Florence S. Dudley, 95, passed away peacefully on Saturday, Jan 29, 2022 at Spang Crest Manor in Lebanon, PA.
Born June 26, 1926 in Philadelphia to Paul and Florence Seelig (nee Nace). She graduated from Girl's High School, where she majored in Latin. She worked as a civilian for the Navy and later for Bell Telephone in Philadelphia where she was the first female wire chief clerk. There she met her dearest friend and companion, Albert T. Dudley. They were married for 57 years until his passing in 2006.
Together they built their home in Feasterville, where Florence lived until her convalescence.
The Dudleys were charter* members of St. Stephen's Lutheran Church in Feasterville, and Florence was very active in many church activities. She was fond of her Martha's Circle and the many friendships that were formed over the years.
Florence was active with Albert with the Telephone Pioneers, in their community outreach. She volunteered at Byberry State Hospital and was active in other community groups. They also enjoyed travel in Europe, Canada and much of the US.
Florence will be remembered fondly by her daughters, Pamela Dudley Winkler (David) and Diane Dudley Haas (Stefan d'd), and grandchildren Alexander Haas, Monica Haas, Breanna Orndorff, Suzanne Haas, Shannon Martin and Dylan Haas, and great-grandson Harlo David Smith. Also dear to her heart, nephew Paul E. Seelig, niece Linda Seelig Grant, sister-in-law Ruth Seelig, goddaughter Katherine Spangler Bruno, godson Christopher Spangler, and many other nieces and nephews, friends, caretakers and kind neighbors.

Those closest knew Florence as kind, thoughtful, patient and giving of her time. We will miss her constant encouragement, her love and generous heart, and remain inspired by her lifelong desire to learn.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her visitation on Friday, February 4, 2022 from 10:00 AM and to her funeral service at 11 :00 AM at St. Stephen's Lutheran Church with Pastor Kristina Ahlman officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, Feasterville.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Florence's memory may be made to St. Stephen's Lutheran Church.
