Obituary of Foster Schoch

Foster M. Schock, Jr., of Northeast Philadelphia, passed away December 22, 2009 at Aria Health-Bucks. He was 84. Foster was a veteran of the US Army and USN, having served in both WWII and Korea. He was a double Purple Heart recipient. After his military career, he was employed by the Decker Corporation and AEL Laboratories in Colmar. The beloved husband of 57 years to Betty (nee Thormer), he is also survived by a daughter Linda Shimkus (Mike), grandson Michael Shimkus (Kristy), a sister Loretta Nichols and a beloved adopted sister Lee Martino, also by numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Monday, December 28 from 7 to 9 PM at the Kirk & Nice Suburban Chapel 333 County Line Road, Feasterville, and again on Tuesday December 29 from 10 AM, with funeral services at 11 AM. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Yeadon, PA.
