Francesco Fallavollita, age 65, loving husband of Lucia (Guglielmi) Fallavollita of Warminster, PA, passed away on April 5, 2023 in Doylestown.
He was born in Corfinio, Italy on December 31, 1957. As a young man, when Francesco was not helping his family on their farm, you would find him socializing with his many friends throughout the Valle Peligna, playing rugby on the Sulmona team or soccer/calcio on the Squadra di Campo di Fano. After marrying Lucia and moving to the United States, Francesco dedicated 38 years of his professional life to Seravalli Contractors. While he no longer played soccer, his greatest pastime was watching the game, traveling to countless tournaments with his son's team, and occasionally (frequently!) being carded by the refs for his "passion"! Many affectionately referred to Francesco as Big Frank . While the name may have originated due to his physical stature and strength, the name is actually more descriptive of his big and kind heart – he would do anything for anyone and always put the needs of others before his own. He leaves behind his wife of 42 years, Lucia, children Tiana Fallavollita, Simona Fallavollita Green (Scott Green) and Franco Fallavollita, grandson Nico (2), brother Candido Fallavollita (Anna Leone), nieces Greta Fallavollita and Giulia Fallavollita, and many dear cousins, family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Giuseppe Fallavollita and Antoinette Liberatore and parents in-law Rosa and Domenico Guglielmi. Francesco will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him, especially by his family. Family and friends are invited to attend his visitation on Saturday, April 22, 2023 from 10:00 AM and to his service of Christian burial at 11:00 AM at Kirk and Nice Suburban Chapel, 333 West County Line Road, Huntingdon Valley, PA 19006.
