Obituary of Francis Koehler, Sr.

Francis (Frank ) R. of Kingsland, GA( formerly of Philadelphia ), passed away on June 19, 2014 at age 72. Beloved husband of Ellyn C. ( nee Fretz ) ; loving father of Francis Roland Koehler, Jr. ( Susan ) and April Ellyn Sullivan ( Patrick ); devoted grandfather of Maggie, Max, and Dean Koehler. Frank is also survived by his siblings, Roland Koehler ( Diane ), Mary Koehler Bell ( Al ) and multiple nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roland and Mary C. Koehler, and his brother, Edward Koehler. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran, a successful businessman, an avid golfer, animal lover and he gave generously to charities and individuals alike. Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Saturday, June 28, 2014 at 11 am at the Kirk & Nice Suburban Chapel , 333 County Line Rd., Feasterville, Pa 19053 ( 215 - 354 - 0085).
