Francis J. Kasitz, age 76, passed peacefully at his Huntingdon Valley home on Saturday, February 17th, 2024 surrounded by his family.  He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Nan (nee Selfridge) and his two sons, Greg (Kelly) and Steve (Sarah), five grandchildren Casey (Michael), Matthew, Thomas, Ryan, and Emily, and one great-grandchild, Dimitri.  Frank is also survived by his siblings, Marguerite (Robert) Duke, David (Susan), Peter (Sheila) and Mark (Linda) Wallace.  He is predeceased by his brother Eric, his sister Patricia Valiente, and his parents Frank Kasitz and Bette K. (Sulok) Wallace.  Frank will be missed by several friends, nieces and nephews.

Frank was born in Abington, to Frank and Bette Kasitz on October 28th, 1947.  He graduated from Lower Moreland High School and continued to Penn State to earn his Associate Degree.   After serving our country in the United States Army, Frank returned to his career in banking and started his future with Nan whom he cherished.  In his retirement, he enjoyed a new career in heavy equipment service and operation at Earthborne, Inc. in Warrington, Pennsylvania. Frank enjoyed spending time with his family and friends at their cabin in Lake Minisink, Pennsylvania, and on Long Beach Island with his grandchildren.  His greatest love was bringing his whole family together.

Frank found joy in helping others by working, building and fixing things.  He was an avid train collector and enthusiast.  His other passion was cars, especially his brand new red corvette.

Family and friends are invited to gather at Kirk and Nice Suburban Chapel, 333 West County Line Road, Huntingdon Valley, 19006, at 10:00 am on Tuesday, February 27th, 2024. A Memorial Service will follow at 11:00 am.  Inurnment will be private at a later date.
