Frank J. Walter, Sr. of Feasterville, Pa. passed away on Friday December 30th surrounded by his loving family. He was 89 years old.

Frank was a U.S. Navy veteran serving in the South Pacific during WW II and a U.S. Army veteran serving during the Korean War. He was life member of 72 years with the Feasterville Fire Company and a member of the Bucks County FOP Lodge #53. He began his law enforcement career with the Bryn Athyn Police Department in 1952 before being hired by the Lower Southampton Police Department in 1954. He retired in 1988 holding the rank of Lieutenant with the police department.

Frank was a man of honor and integrity proudly serving his country and community. He loved spending time with his family down the shore in North Wildwood, NJ and later in Ocean City, MD. His family was one of the most important aspects in his life and will be deeply missed.

He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Dorothy; his four sons Frank (Diane) of Feasterville, Pa., Thomas (Wendy) of Burlington, NJ, Kenneth of Feasterville, Pa., and Robert (Denise) of Langhorne, Pa., seven grandchildren David (Tara), Brian (Deanne), Kevin (Jen), James, Danielle, Melanie and Timothy., six great grandchildren Brent, Cianna, Trace, Blake, Quinn and Hadley. He is also survived by his brother Harry (Irmgard) of Canton, NY and his sister Katherine of Houston TX.

A viewing will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. Friday Jan. 6, 2017 at the Kirk & Nice Funeral Home, 333 County Line Road, Feasterville, Pa. 19053; followed by a service and burial at Sunset Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be sent to The Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Road, Newtown, Pa. 18940.
