IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Frieda L.
Heinel
September 19, 1930 – February 3, 2023
Frieda Lydia Heinel of Holland Pa. passed peacefully on Friday, February 3, 2023, at home, she was 92. Frieda was the loving wife of the late Carl S Heinel and the mother to daughters Lynn Ann Heinel, Barbara Lee Heinel, Donna Christine Heinel (Rachel) grandchildren Caleb, and Madeleine Heenan.
Frieda was the youngest daughter to the late Willhelm and Frieda Laege, with siblings preceded in death Helmut (Emma), Lydia (George), Eleanor (Stan), and Wilhelm Jr. who immigrated from Germany and began their lives here. Frieda was dedicated to her family and instilled in them strength, honesty, perseverance, and an unwavering work ethic. She had a long career as an Administrative Assistant and furthered her education by taking college courses. With her husband of 64 years, they traveled by train cross country to see the beautiful landscapes of this country. She was passionate about her children/grandchildren, playing cards, Sudoku, giving treats to every child and dog in the neighborhood, Jitterbugging, and sitting on the front porch to "see what was happening". She loved to see new places, looking at all the Christmas lights, watching the birds on the backyard feeder, and watching football on TV. She will be missed by her family and friends but will always be with us in spirit and thoughts.
In lieu of flowers donations in Frieda's memory can be made to St. Jude's Hospital for Children https://www.stjude.org/give/memorials-and-dedications.html
