IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Gail
Hanson
August 24, 1964 – December 27, 2025
Gail Hanson of Southampton, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on Saturday, December 27, 2025, at the age of 61.
Gail was born on August 24, 1964, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to Harold Colajezzi and Patricia Wilson.
Gail lived a life defined by love, compassion, strength, and service to others. A devoted nurse manager for more than 40 years at Jefferson/Abington Hospital, caring for people was not just Gail's profession—it was her true calling. She had a natural ability to comfort, advocate for, and care for others during their most vulnerable moments. Her dedication, empathy, and tireless commitment touched countless lives.
Family meant everything to Gail, and she took great pride in caring for those around her, both at work and at home. She found joy in the simple moments—time spent with loved ones, shared laughter, meaningful conversations, and creating memories that will be cherished forever. Her laugh was truly contagious, often filling a room and bringing smiles to everyone around her. Gail was a die-hard fan of the Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies, loved spending time at the Jersey Shore, especially Avalon, and cherished her annual family trips to Disney, where she created magical memories that will be remembered forever.
Gail is the beloved wife of Glen, and a loving mother and best friend to Chris (Gina), Drew, and Ashley. She was a devoted and caring grandmother (Mimi) to Domenic, Luca, and Giovanni, who brought her immense joy and pride. Gail is mourned by her sister, Lisa Stahl (David), and her brothers Robert Colajezzi (Lydia), David Colajezzi (Ruth), and Harry Colajezzi (Diane). Gail was deeply devoted to her family and found her greatest happiness in being present for those she loved.
