Obituary of George Hood

HOOD, George S. passed away March 25, 2014 at the Cornwall Manor Health Center. He was 91. George had been a 60 year member of the Joseph F. Brown Lodge #751 F&AM. The beloved husband of the late Alice (nee O'Brien), he is survived by his children Diane Thomas (Robert W.) and George R. Hood (Joan), grandchildren; Matthew M. Thomas (Dakota) and Andrew D. Hood (Kristy), great-grandchildren; Audrey, Anderson and Alistair, also by a cousin Emma Fetzer. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Friday April 4 from 10am at the Kirk & Nice Suburban Chapel 333County Line Rd. Feasterville (215-354-0085) where a memorial service will be held at 11am. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory should be made to the Alzheimer's Association Delaware Valley Chapter 399 Market St. Suite 102 Philadelphia, PA 19106.
