Reid, Gilbert R. of Norristown, on October 2, 2007. Age 83. A graduate of Drexel University, he was a chemical engineer and prolific inventor with 25 patents. A U.S. Army veteran, he proudly served in World War II. Beloved husband of the late Genevieve (nee Fabrizio). Father of Daniel Reid, MD and Joyce Monaghan. Brother of Gertrude Dougherty, Beatrice Gustavsen, & Ruth Bischoff. Also survived by 2 grandchildren Cindy Meer and Shawn Monaghan and 2 great grandchildren Jessica Meer and Michael Meer.
