Giuseppe Cotroneo (89), Born: March 5th, 1932, in Santa Caterina dello Ionio Italy.  Passed away January 6th, 2022 in Abington Pennsylvania. Son of Pietro (Deceased) and Immaculata Cotroneo (deceased).

He is survived by his wife Connie (Naimo) for (nearly) 50 years.  Their wedding anniversary was to be on January 8th.  His four sons; Peter, Joseph, Bruno Smoje, and Dean (Heather Strazza). His seven grandchildren; Nikole (Ted Rosenberg), Brianna (Ryan Patterson), Marissa, Kiryna, Claudia Smoje, A.J. Strazza, and Mark Strazza. His two great-grandchildren; Joie Rosenberg, and Ryder Rosenberg.

After arriving in America in 1956, He was a tailor by trade managing pants factories until he retired in 1992. He enjoyed making pants and had mastered his craft, he could make a pair of pants in under 2 hours. In the summer, you could find him in his vegetable garden tying his tomatoes or harvesting the fruits of his labor.  Anyone that would visit would leave with a bag full of tomatoes, string beans, or whatever the pick of the day was. In late summer, one of his favorite traditions was the annual tomato sauce jarring. Whereas at the beginning of winter, it was making Soppressata! It was during these times that he enjoyed having the family all together!  Family was everything to him!  He wouldn't hesitate to help anyone.  He was a doer, an Italian through and through!!

We will miss him Immensely!!
