Gloria Durchsprung (nee Melada), age 95, of Warminster, PA passed away peacefully on September 7, 2025. Born in Chester, PA, on March 31, 1930,

Gloria graduated from Chester High School and went on to attend The University of Pennsylvania on a full Senatorial Scholarship. She was a proud member of Chi Omega, where she served as Social Chair and where she developed lifelong friendships with many of her sorority sisters. Gloria also enjoyed performing onstage with the Penn Players. After graduating in 1953, she began her professional career with the DuPont Company in Wilmington, DE, where she worked in the Treasurer's Department. Later in life, after raising her children, she returned to the workforce with a part-time position at the Edon Corporation in Horsham, PA, which she greatly enjoyed. Gloria was a member of The Wagoneers (Welcome Wagon) for over 50 years, forming many cherished friendships. She enjoyed participating in their educational programs and orchestrating the annual holiday skits.

She was preceded in death by her husband Herbert, with whom she shared 47 years of marriage; her parents Sam and Matija Melada; and her brothers Daniel, Ivan and Vicko Melada. She is survived by her three daughters; Karen Ralston (Robert), Sharon Hennelly (Adam) and Lauren Bahry (John); four grandchildren Andrew, Cameron, Melissa and Erin and one great-granddaughter, Eriel.

Family will receive visitors on Saturday, September 13, 2025, from 10AM to 11AM at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 611 Knowles Avenue, Southampton, PA 18966. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11AM. Interment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
