Obituary of Guido D'Ettorre

Guido W. D'Ettorre "Bill", age 89 of Rydal, formerly of Philadelphia, passed away on August 5, 2010. Beloved husband of Rita (nee DiTomasso), loving father of Frances D'Amico (John), Irene Yanak (Mitchell) and Christina D'Ettoree-Leslie (Kevin). Survived by 5 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Also survived by Sandra Muller, Ronald Christian (Stephanie), Scott Christian, Mark Curley (Kelly), 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. He was a Sergeant in The U.S. Army and honorably served his country in WWII. Surviving 2 major campaigns, The D-Day Invasion and the Battle of the Bulge. Bill thoroughly enjoyed serving his friends and vast community members for over 50 years at Dugan's, The Shack, The Cottage Green and Celebrations. The highlight of his retirement was spending many memorable moments with family and friends at the casinos. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Wednesday, August 11, 2010 after 10 AM at Kirk And Nice Suburban Chapel, 333 County Line Road, Feasterville, PA 215-354-0085 where a Funeral Service will be held at 12 Noon. Interment to follow in Sunset Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the Muller Foundation, 2800 Grant Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19114.
