Obituary of Hedy Schernecke

Hedy Schernecke passed away on July 17th, at home, with her loving family by her side. She was 72-years young. She was born in Philadelphia and later in life became a 42-year resident of Oakford. Daughter of the late Arthur and Mary Witzel, she is survived by Steve, her husband of 52 years, their three children and spouses; Kathy Doran (Kevin), Lynda Horlacher (David) and Stephen Schernecke (Christi), five grandchildren; Tim & Amanda Horlacher, Bryan Landis, Alexander & Nikolas Schernecke, one brother, Art Witzel (Barbara), brother-in-law & sister-in-law, Ken & Anne Schernecke, five nieces and nephews; Kevin Schernecke (Ruthie), Andrea & Beth Schernecke, Rhyannon & Josh Witzel and grand-nephew, Zachary Schernecke. Friends, family and acquaintances are invited to viewing this Wed., July 23rd from 8am-10am at Kirk & Nice Suburban Chapel, 333 County Line Rd, Feasterville. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11am at Assumption BVM Church, 1900 Meadowbrook Rd, Feasterville. Interment is to follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Bensalem.
