Helen E. Layher passed away peacefully in North Wales, PA on Sunday, May 17, 2026. She was 93 years of age.

She was born in Oreland, PA on July 14th, 1932, to the late David and Edna Gundlach of Philadelphia. She married her lifelong love, William “Bill” Layher on October 29, 1940. They were never far from each other until Bill’s passing in January 2020.

Helen worked at Heraeus Electro-nite in an administrative position until she retired. After retirement, she split her time between her shore home and Philadelphia. Helen loved to shop and spend time with her sisters, family, and many shore friends. She especially enjoyed gatherings with loved ones and created countless cherished memories over the years.

She leaves behind a sister, Anne Astbury, along with nieces, nephews, and their extended families. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
