Obituary of Herbert Groskin

Herbert E. Groskin of New York City, New York (formerly of Upper Darby, PA), passed away on November 26, 2010 at the age of 89. Beloved husband of the late Diane Groskin. Survived by his nephew, Michael Groskin and his friends Gail Feinbloom, Jadwiqa Wasielewska, and Tom Murphy. Mr. Groskin was a U.S. Army Veteran of WWII and served in Europe. He sold broacast advertisement space and bought and sold radio stations. He had in the pleasure of his career, of meeting and having lunch with Mayor Michael Bloomberg (New York City). A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, December 1, 2010, at 11 A.M. at Hillside Cemetery, 2556 Susquehanna Rd., Roslyn, PA 19001.
