Howard M. Crane, husband of 59 years to Edna (nee Jordan) father to Susan Gatto (Anthony) and Howard (Donna). Grandfather to Taren, Matthew, Danny, Kyle, Nolan, and Emily passed away after a long battle with illness on Sunday, March 28, 2021. He is survived by his sister Marie Frock (Norvel), many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Howard was a huge train enthusiast, enjoying them from the time he was a young boy putting them up with this father. He continued the tradition with his son during the holiday season and would run them for family and friends.

Howard was a veteran of the Navy, a Plane Captain, who traveled around the Mediterranean and was a member of the nuclear bombing team. He worked as a printer for 47 years and enjoyed printing for the Phillies and many Philadelphia public areas.

Howard was a huge Phillies and Flyers fan. He watched with a critical eye when they were not playing to their potential and enjoyed them every season regardless of the outcome.

Friends and family are invited to attend a viewing on Monday, April 5, 2021, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at Kirk and Nice Suburban Chapel, 333 W. County Line Road, Huntingdon Valley, PA 19006. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home at 12:00 pm. Mausoleum entombment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park, 333 W. County Line Road, Huntingdon Valley, PA 19006.
