IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Howard L.
Neuber
March 4, 1931 – March 24, 2023
Howard L. Neuber, loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away on March 24, 2023, at the age of 92. Born in the Frankford section of Philadelphia on March 4, 1931, to Edith (Frabengeyer) and Leonard Neuber, Howard was a devoted family man who brought warmth and laughter to all who knew him.
Howard was predeceased by his loving wife of 68 years, Marjorie, who passed away during the pandemic in September 2020. He was also predeceased by his parents, Edith and Leonard Neuber , and his brother, Leonard.
Howard is survived by his children, Linda (Harry), Stephen (Kathleen), and Nancy (Charles), and his adoring grandchildren, Harry, Kristin (Matthew), Gabrielle (Salvatore), Gretchen, and Ryan. He was also a proud great-grandfather to Emma, Liam, and Addison.
A proud Philadelphian, Howard grew up in the Frankford neighborhood before settling in Feasterville, Bucks County, to raise his family. He was a lifelong fan of the Phillies and Eagles and a dedicated member of the Sheet Metal Workers' Union Local 19, and was proud to tell of all the iconic "buildings he worked on" in Philadelphia and the Surrounding areas.
With an appreciation for the classics, Howard loved Big Band music, particularly the sounds of Stan Kenton and Glen Miller. He enjoyed traveling on Starr Tours bus trips and weekend getaways to Atlantic City with Marjorie. Yearly summer vacations in the Pocono Mountains with the entire family were cherished moments for all.
Howard's love for a good joke and infectious laughter will be remembered fondly by all who knew him.
A joint celebration of life for Howard and Marjorie will be held on April 29, 2023, at their church, Somerton United Methodist Church with visitation beginning at 10:30 am followed by a celebration service at 11:00am with a luncheon immediately following. Friends and family are invited to attend and share their memories of this wonderful couple who left an indelible mark on their hearts.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Somerton Interfaith Food Bank or your favorite charity, in memory of Howard & Marjorie Neuber. Their legacy of love, laughter, and devotion will live on through the countless lives they touched.
