Howard S. Polk, Jr., 77, of Croydon, Pennsylvania, passed suddenly on November 5th, 2023.  He now joins Eileen who passed in 2020.  He is survived by his three sons, Howard R. (Patricia), Christopher (Amy), and Jeffrey (Joann), five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

He was a lifelong resident of Croydon.  Howard graduated from Delhaas High School, before he was drafted.  He served our country in the United States Navy aboard the Shangri La.  Upon his return Howard married his high school sweetheart with whom he shared fifty years.  He played softball, coached teams, and later went on to become an avid fan of the Phillies and the Eagles.  He cherished his family and only on rare occasions did he miss a game.  He also loved his pets.  His career in heating and air conditioning provided a skill that he shared whenever anyone was in need.  As his extended family grew smaller he stepped in to help his nieces and nephews.

Friends and family are invited to gather on Monday, November 27th, 2023 from 11:00 am to 12:30pm at Kirk and Nice Suburban Chapel, 333 West County Line Road, Huntingdon Valley, PA 19006.  A Memorial Service will take place at 12:30, before escorting Howard to his final resting place at Washington Crossing National Cemetery in Newtown, Pennsylvania.
