Iris C. MacAlister, age 81, of Yardley, PA ( formerly of Philadelphia ) passed away on March 11, 2018 .  She is survived by her siblings, Nancy Elizabeth Whitehead ( John ) and Kenneth E. MacAlister ( Cheryl ) ; nieces , Beth Rawling, Deborah Britschge and Sharon Carson; nephews, John Whitehead , Kenneth MacAlister, Jr. and Matthew MacAlister. Iris was preceded in death by her brother, James G. MacAlister. Iris worked for the state of Pennsylvania for over 40 years and was a lifelong avid gardener, and was especially fond of the roses that she grew. Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Saturday, March 24, 2018, 10 am at Kirk & Nice Suburban Chapel, 333 County Line Rd., Feasterville, PA 19053, where Iris's life will be celebrated at 11 am. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Delaware Valley Chapter, 399 Market St., Philadelphia, PA 19131.
