Isabelle "Sis" (Deputy) Correia passed away peacefully in her sleep on Monday, May 24, 2021 at Cooper University Hospital in Camden, NJ. She was 96 years old, having been born on July 31, 1924 in Philadelphia, PA to her late parents Isabella (Hazlett) and Maurice Deputy.
A resident of Cinnaminson, NJ, Sis took great pride in making a home for her husband of 75 years Joseph Correia and their only child, Linda Gale (Correia) Koelle. Sis lived in Philadelphia with her family until 1962, when the family moved to Los Angeles, CA. In 1968 the family returned, settling again in Philadelphia and eventually moving to Cinnaminson, NJ upon their daughter's marriage.

Everyone who knew Sis knew of her love, warmth, graciousness, religious and self-effacing nature. She always looked for and found the good in those around her. Nary a cross or critical word ever passed her lips. She loved to garden, always attending to the flowers and plants that surrounded her home. She continued to garden by hand well into her 90's, illustrating her drive and devotion to homemaking. Sis particularly enjoyed family gatherings with her four siblings and their families, often entertaining at their home with Correia summertime cookouts.
Sis is survived by her husband Joseph A. Correia and daughter Linda Gale (Correia) Koelle and her husband Frederick J. Koelle of Jenkintown PA. Her grandchildren, Ryan Koelle, Corinne (Koelle) Garlanger (Cody) and her sole great-grandchild Daniel Koelle. She is also survived by her siblings Marcella (Deputy) Seitter, Maurice (Bud) Deputy (Phyllis) and Jane (Deputy) Henderson (James). She was preceded in death by her brother William (Bill) Deputy.

A funeral service will be held at Kirk and Nice Suburban Chapel on the grounds of Sunset Memorial Park, 333 W. County Line Road, Huntingdon Valley, PA 19006 on Friday, June 11, 2021 at 1:00 PM. A viewing will begin at 12:00 PM. The viewing, service and interment will be followed by a reception at Maggio's Restaurant, 400 2nd Street Pike, Southampton, PA 18966 at 4:00 PM.
