James Edward Burkhart, 95, of Feasterville, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 30, 2023, with his family by his side. Born in Ashville, PA and raised in Altoona, PA, where he was a lifelong resident, he attended Altoona Catholic High School until he was drafted into the Army for WWII , where he served as a TEC 5 radio operator out of Fort Belvoir, Virginia .
