Obituary of James McCaffrey

JAMES F. McCaffrey, age 90, on November 8, 2013. Cherished husband of the late Claire (nee Schmitt). Loving father of Claire Huff and James McCaffrey. Beloved father-in-law of Colette McCaffrey and Warren E. Huff. Devoted grandfather of Conall and Padraic McCaffrey. A life-long Philadelphian, Jim served his country during WWII in the China-Burma-India Theater. Serving the people of Philadelphia for 30 years as a firefighter and officer, he retired in 1980 as a Captain and instructor at the Philadelphia Fire Academy. Family and friends are welcome to visit from 9:00 A.M to 11:00 A.M, Thursday November 14 at the Kirk & Nice Suburban Chapel, 333 County Line Road Feasterville Pa. 19053. Interment immediately following at Sunset Memorial Park.
