Janet Ruth Brown (née Seaberg), 85, of Southampton, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 20, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family.

Janet was the devoted wife of the late Thomas Brown, proudly supporting him throughout his career as a police officer while lovingly raising their family in the Northeast section of Philadelphia before later moving to Southampton.

She is survived by her daughters, Ginny Dodge (Jay) and Suzanne Kitchen (James); her five athletic grandsons, Cameron, Connor, Christopher, Eric, and Cole; and her two sweet great-grandsons, Frankie and Dominic.

Janet had a special place in her heart for golden retrievers and generously shared that love with others through her volunteer work as a therapy dog handler at Abington Hospital. She was also an integral at the Bucks County Courthouse for ten years before retiring to the ACTS Community in Southampton.

Janet was active and social, she enjoyed swimming, traveling, crafting, and spending time outdoors. She enjoyed biking along the canal trail and especially valued time spent with her daughters in the Poconos and at the Jersey Shore. Her circle of friends was wide and diverse, and she delighted in crafting, traveling, and making memories with them.
