Obituary of Janet Gifford

Janet L. Gifford ( nee Somers ), age 77, of Trevose, passed away on September 13, 2013. She was the beloved and devoted wife of Thomas Gifford, loving and caring mother of Debra Thorrick ( Michael ), Thomas Gifford ( Patricia ), Gary Gifford, and Michelle Aquila ( Scott ), mother - in - law of Scott Russell. Janet is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Patricia Russell. Janet's true passions in life were her family, gourmet cooking, camping, crabbing and surf fishing . She was a member of the Women's Surf Fishing Club of New Jersey, The Lower Southampton Historical Society, The Trevose Horticultural Society and the Eastern Star. Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Thursday, September 19, 2013 from 10:30 to 11:30 am at the Kirk & Nice Suburban Chapel, 333 County Line Rd., Feasterville, Pa. 19053. A memorial funeral mass will be celebrated at 12 noon, at Assumption BVM, 1900 Meadowbrook Rd.( at Bristol Rd. ), Feasterville, PA 19053. Inurnment will be private.
