Janet M. (Wekluk) Rech, age 84 of Philadelphia, PA passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Friday, November 22, 2024.

Born in East Greenville, PA, she was a lifelong resident of Philadelphia. She worked as a hair stylist for many years and then as a lunchroom assistant at the William H. Loesche Elementary School. Janet was a self-taught artist and loved sharing her paintings and drawings with her family and friends. She was a member of the St. Stephen's Lutheran Church.

Daughter of the late William and Anna Wekluk; wife of the late William Rech. Janet is survived by her stepchildren, Janet and Joe Leipert, Bill and Linda Rech and their children; as well as a sister, Dolores, and brother, William and nieces and nephews.

Friends may call from 11 AM until service time to share fond memories.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Janet's funeral service at noon on Tuesday, November 26, 2024 at Kirk and Nice Suburban Chapel.

Janet will be laid to rest at Sunset Memorial Park following services.
