Janet C. Volz (nee Shaffer ), age 87, of the Norristown area , passed away on August 18, 2017. She is survived by her son, Louis W. Volz, 3rd ( Linda L. ), a stepson, Jason Fisher, 2 great grandchildren, Ashley Fisher and Rebecca Fisher ; her brother, Joseph Shaffer, sister - in - law, Jane Vogel and her brother - in - law, Joseph Volz ( Cloie ). Janet was preceded in death by her husband, Louis W. Volz, Jr. Janet had a strong work ethic and took on many tasks. She also had strong family ties. Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Friday, August 25, 2017, 10 am at the Kirk & Nice Suburban Chapel, 333 County Line Rd., Feasterville, PA 19053, where Janet's life will be celebrated at 11 am.
