Obituary
Joan K. Rockenbach (née Vickery) died unexpectedly May 20, 2022 aged 62 years. She is survived by her beloved husband of 40 years, Matthew J. Rockenbach Sr, her son, Matthew J. Rockenbach Jr (Erin), grandchildren: Robert and Luke. She is predeceased by her dear daughter, Ann-Marie Rockenbach and her parents, Robert and Anna Vickery. She is also survived by her siblings: Bill Vickery (Ann) and Ron Vickery (Connie).
Joan retired after 20 years of service from Brooke's Instruments. In her retirement, she enjoyed puzzles and games, especially Yahtzee and on her iPad making color by number pictures for her grandsons. She also enjoyed sitting by the pool in warm weather, Wildwood trips with her family and Philly sports teams, especially her beloved Phillies. She and her husband Matt loved to watch and care for dogs together. Joan is remembered as a wonderful wife, a selfless and caring mom, and adoring Grammy to her grandsons. She will be missed by her family, many extended families, and friends whom she loved dearly.
Family and friends are kindly invited to a Viewing Wednesday May 25, 2022, 10:00am-12:00pm, at Kirk and Nice Suburban Chapel, 333 W. County Line Road, Huntingdon Valley, PA 19006. Brief words of comfort and healing with be said at 11:30am. A Burial of Cremated Remains will take place Thursday May 26, 2022, 2:00pm in Sunset Memorial Park, Huntingdon Valley, PA and will be private for the family. Please leave your remembrances of Joan below.
