Joan M. Wilwert, nee Aulett, age 86, of Philadelphia, passed on Thursday, November 30, 2023. Joan was the loving wife of Anthony Wilwert until his passing in 2005. They are now reunited. Joan is survived by her three children, Carolyn J. Willard, Linda J. Cichonski (David), Scott Wilwert (Jennifer), six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Joan is also survived by two siblings, Donna (Tom) Donahue and Joseph (Jean) Aulett, and predeceased Claire Collins, Lenore Foster, Kathryn Jiminez and Leonard D. Aulett, Jr. She is also survived by her loving dog, Rudy.

Joan was born on August 12, 1937 to Leonard and Claire Aulett, in Philadelphia. She attended Saint Edwards Elementary, and Little Flower High School. She met Anthony and married in 1957 where they made their home in the Juniata Park section of Philadelphia. Joan was a 27 year breast cancer survivor and an inspiration to those currently battling cancer. She spent many years working as a medical technician for various doctors and volunteered her time at Northeast Catholic High School.

Friends and family may gather on Friday, December 8, 2023 from 10 - 11 AM at the Kirk and Nice Suburban Chapel, 333 W. County Line Rd. Huntingdon Valley, PA 19006.

A Memorial service will follow at 11 AM. Mrs. Wilwert will be laid to rest privately at the convenience of the family.
