Johanna "Joann" Carr age 91, passed away peacefully on March 22, 2021, at her home in Wesley Enhanced Living in Upper Moreland, PA. Daughter of the late Lawrence and Jacqueline (Calibro) Giardina, she is predeceased by her husband, Thomas "Tucker" Carr; and her siblings Sonny Giardina and Josephine Panunto.

She is survived by her loving children, Thomas Carr III (Rona) of Southampton, PA and Jacqueline DiTore (Robert) of Horsham, PA; her grandchildren, Tommy Carr, Emalie Carr, and Bobby DiTore; her sister, Florence Giardina of Philadelphia, PA; her brother in law Michael Panunto of Lansdale, PA.; and many nieces and nephews.

Joann enjoyed playing the piano, making ceramics, and playing pinochle. She enjoyed sewing and crocheting and made beautiful baby hats for infants in many hospitals. Mostly, she enjoyed spending time with her family, it was her happiest time. She enjoyed cooking and making ravioli for special occasions. She taught other family members her "secret" recipe. She worked most of her life as a truck dispatcher for Wilson Trucking and later on for A. Duie Plye. Before she retired she worked part-time in the office for Nortec Industries in Southampton.

Services are under the direction of Kirk and Nice Suburban Chapel, 333 W. County Line Road, Huntingdon Valley, PA 19006.
