John T. Farrell, age 68, of Philadelphia, passed away peacefully on July 3, 2023 in Philadelphia.

John was a Frankford High School graduate, Class of 1973. Summertime was his favorite time of year because he loved the heat and being outside. He loved taking trips to the shore, whether it was for the day or a few days. And, if he wasn't at the beach, he loved being in the backyard doing what he liked best :grilling, sunbathing, yard work, and much more. He was also a die-hard Philadelphia Phillies fan, but most of all, he loved his family dearly and would do anything for them no matter how stubborn he was.

John was preceded in death by his parents Rhuel Farrell and Nina Farrell (Kernaghan), also by his sister Dina Farrell Gribley.

John is survived by his Children Samantha Farrell (Chris), Kelly Farrell, and Mary Jane Hopkins (Steve); Grandchildren Kelsie Farrell (Joey), Joseph John Melleski; Austin, Michael, Alexis, and Anthony Andreacchio; Emma and Ava Hopkins; Great Grandchildren Carlee and Joey Toal; Sister Linda Borland; Brother Robert Farrell (Idell); longtime Friend Mary Jane Hendrickson; and many Nieces and Nephews.

A graveside service will take place Wednesday, July 19th at 12:30 PM at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery.
