John Michael Kucskar, age 79, of Huntingdon Valley, Pennsylvania passed away on Friday December 5, 2025. John is survived by his loving wife of 16 years Dawn Burstein, his daughter Kathryn and her husband Vaughn Hastings, his step-son Brett Burstein and his wife Kristin, their 2 daughters Sara and Jemma, and his sister Dolores Allen. John will be missed by many.

John is predeceased by his parents, John Andrew and Mary (née Tatar) and his sister Loretta Fowler.

John was a science teacher and touched the lives of many students from Conwell-Egan Catholic High School (Fairless Hills) and Arbor View High School (Las Vegas). After John's retirement he found joy in crossword puzzles, culinary delights, classical music and tinkering around the house; and especially spending time with his granddaughters.

John's viewing will be held on Friday, December 12, 2025 at 10:00 am. Services will be held at 11:00 am in the Funeral Home Chapel at Kirk and Nice Suburban chapel on the grounds of Sunset Memorial Park, 333 West County Line Road, Huntingdon Valley, PA 19006. Immediately following John's funeral service, we will escort him to his final resting place in the Chapel of Peace Mausoleum on the grounds of Sunset Memorial Park.
