John E. Wiegner III, age 67, beloved husband of Joan (Eshleman) Wiegner of Feasterville, passed away on Wednesday, April 26, 2023 in Doylestown.

Born on January 3, 1956 in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late John Wiegner, Jr. He grew up in the Burholme section of Philadelphia.

He made lifelong friends at the Jardel Rec Center where he met his wife of 46 years, Joan.

John was a contractor who was fair, honest, and took great pride in his work. He was a perfectionist at his craft. He later became a member of the Sheetmetal Workers Union, Local 19.

John was an amazing husband and family man. In addition to his wife, Joan, he is survived by his sons; John Wiegner IV (Michelle), and Matt Wiegner (Denise) and his daughter; Kate Wiegner - Smith, and his son-in-law, Sean Smith, along with his many grandchildren. He is also survived by his sisters; Esther Sacks, and Michelle Kahana, and his brother; Dennis Wiegner, and his many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother James Wiegner, niece Alex Kahana, and his grandson Chase.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend John's viewing on Tuesday, May 2, 2023 at Kirk & Nice Suburban Chapel from 6 - 8 PM. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in John's memory to the Childrens Hospital of Philadelphia at give2.chop.edu would be appreciated.
